The course discusses technical developments of artificial molecular evolution in the last two decades, and its recent application to drug discovery and development. The topics include: nucleic acid and peptide aptamers, in vitro selection, cell-free translation, cell- free display systems, and genetic code reprogramming. Students need to actively participate to the discussions and presentations of recent publications related to the topics during the course.
