This course introduces the clinical research process, defined as patient-centered, translation, epidemiology, outcomes, and comparative effectiveness studies, and teaches essential terms and important concepts for designing and interpreting clinical research. In addition, students often create a research protocol in a specific area of interest to solve and explore relevant research questions.
